The Vision to form the SEB Group came from our founder, late Mr. L C. Rathi, the father of the Indian Enzyme Industry. He had set-up India's first natural enzyme plant way back in 1958. It was his vision that enabled us to setup Advanced Enzyme Technologies Ltd (AETL) in 1989, with a view to take on the world and become leaders in enzyme manufacturing technology globally. It is due to his vision that today the SEB Group is among the top 10 players in the Global Enzyme Industry!
AETL was established primarily as a Biotechnology company with a purpose to provide natural and eco-friendly solutions to various industries worldwide and has subsequently developed as the largest manufacturer of Industrial Enzymes in India. Today, it boasts the largest enzyme manufacturing plant in the whole of Asia and is the largest pharmaceutical enzyme manufacturer in India since the 90s.
Advanced EnzyTech Solutions Ltd. (AESL) is AETL's division catering solely to Processing Industries viz. Textile, Pulp & paper and Leather, launched in 2008 and is responsible for development, manufacturing and marketing of enzyme based solutions for the targeted industries.
Since AESL is supported with a developed integrated research department and large scale manufacturing scale, the company has a greater chance of commercializing what it discovers, bringing cost-effective products to market in a shorter period of time.
